Position Overview

Vantage is looking for a Finance Business Analyst to join its Accounting Operations team and to help the team deploy strategies to scale, make better informed decisions based on data and analytics and promote our service offering to the business’ various departments. The Finance Business Analyst will also acutely understand Finance’s business processes by documenting them and providing tangible improvements to make the business more agile.   

Duties

• Build and maintain various reports & dashboards used regularly to steer our operations

• Uncover actionable, data-driven insights that increase performance & profitability for the business

• Work with the other accounting, finance and IT teams to implement reporting tools

• Document the team’s processes both for internal reference and publishing to the business

• Analyze our processes to identify opportunities for improvement and implement them

• Assist the various teams with systems improvements, initiatives and other special projects

Job Requirements

• Certificate or technical diploma in accounting, finance, business, or equivalent academic credentials, preferred

• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role within a large, complex organization’s Finance team

• Strong knowledge of the various accounting operations processes (purchase orders, general accounting, accounts payable and accounts receivable)

• Experience in the real estate, construction or service industries, preferred

• Strong analytical mind and problem-solving attitude

• Resourcefulness, autonomy and facility to function in a high-growth, fast-paced environment in which processes and standards are not always already established, constantly changing but always exciting

• Solid Excel, SQL and PowerBI skills

• Knowledge of Yardi Voyager, preferred but not required

• Experience in logically building processes and metrics supporting Finance processes

• Ability to maintain a positive attitude in every situation

Additional Information:

• Salary Range: $70,000 - $75,000 Base + Bonus

• This position is eligible for company benefits including but not limited to medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and AD&D, short and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program that includes company match, and many other additional voluntary benefits

• Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including your qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown

• This is based on Colorado market data
