What Will Be Your Environment:
The Wilmington, MA plant is about 18 miles North of historic Boston, MA. We support the production of specialty medical devices with a team of about 105 employees.
What You'll Do:
As QA Technician you will be responsible for testing products, manufacturing test samples, and ensuring compliance with GMP requirements. The role involves performing inspections, maintaining equipment, documenting procedures, assisting with quality investigations, and collaborating with the QA team under limited supervision.
What We're Looking For:
- Perform testing of products to ensure compliance with GMP requirements.
- Manufacture test samples using polymer processing equipment.
- Conduct incoming, in-process, and final product inspections.
- Maintain and calibrate production and test equipment.
- Document procedures and file records according to ISO standards and site policies.
- Assist with investigations related to quality nonconformances.
- Track and order necessary operating supplies for daily tasks.
- Collaborate with the QA team and communicate inspection findings professionally.
Skills That Make a Difference:
- High school diploma required. Some college courses work preferred
- The ability to perform assigned functions with limited supervision
- Knowledge of statistical techniques and MIL STD test procedures are helpful.
- A basic understanding of math, chemistry and computers are necessary for this position.
- Ability to work independently.
