Job Description

The Senior WHS Logistics Technician is responsible for providing direct support to manufacturing areas and operating under the direction of the Logistics Manager. Must adhere to current Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures and execute according to established safety standards. 

• Demonstrates, at all times, safe work habits and maintains a safe work environment. Understands and complies with all safety and company policies and procedures.

• Pick and Deliver materials to the IPT KanBan in a timely manner.

• Remove nonconforming material from stock, place in quarantine and notify Quality Inspector of non-conformance.

• Pick material based on transfer request requirements on a first expiry, first out (FEFO) basis.

• Issue materials in SAP via Inventory Transaction Entry.

• Receive material in SAP via Inventory Transaction Entry.

• Coordinate with purchasing and/or quality on receivables that are inaccurate or nonconforming according to Purchase Order requirements.

• Performs required data entry functions in SAP to execute the shipping process.

• Operates forklift or powered lift to load onto freight truck.

• Utilize understanding of cold chain shipping, product protection and distribution processes

• Perform regular cycle counts, ensuring system inventory accuracy.

Education:

• High School

Required Experience and Skills: 

• SAP, Forklift Certification, 4 years of cGMP warehouse experience, working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Preferred Experience and Skills: 

• SAP Subject Matter Expert, Current Forklift Certification, 4-5 years of pharmaceutical warehouse experience, proficient with Microsoft Office, experience with Cold Chain Management practices. Demonstrated usage of decision-making and problem-solving abilities in alignment with business objectives..
