Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Subject matter expert with comprehensive knowledge of DoD/Aerospace Contract Management with an in-depth knowledge of its interdependence with project management.
Manages large, complex DoD and/or International contracts of substantial importance to the organization with minimal oversight or direction.
Utilizes strong working knowledge of appropriate regulations including specifically required knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), FAR supplements (e.g. DFARS) and other agency regulations and the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC).
Manages the contractual review of complex DoD/International solicitations, proposal development, contract change control process and overall contract management of multiple on-going DoD/Aerospace solicitations and programs.
Provides input into new products/processes and implements operational plans that have measurable impact on business or functional results.
Communicates within and outside of the organization, which include customers. Communicates with leadership regarding matters of importance to the functional or business area. Will conduct briefings with leaders.
Conducts extensive investigation to understand root cause of problems. Problems span a wide range of difficult and unique issues across the function and/or business area.
Implements strategic goals established by leadership. Provides input into new products, processes, standards and/or operational plans that will have measurable impact on the achievement of overall function or business results.
Maximizes cash through innovative contract formation and negotiation to achieve business objectives.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Requires comprehensive level knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 12 years of prior relevant experience.
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
Clearance upon hiring or achieve a clearance; ability to obtain a Secret clearance.<
