The Role:

As a Lead Water Restoration Technician, you will be responsible for managing and executing water mitigation projects, working directly with clients, and ensuring projects meet industry standards. Your role will be critical in helping customers restore their properties efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform water, fire, and smoke mitigation on residential and commercial properties.
  • Lead and train a team of technicians in proper restoration procedures.
  • Conduct structural drying and monitor job sites to ensure successful completion.
  • Document job progress with daily readings, photos, and reports.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, insurance adjusters, and project managers.
  • Utilize industry-standard software such as Xactimate and Symbility for job documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company protocols.
  • Handle demolition work as needed, including removal of carpets, drywall, and insulation.
  • Set up and monitor restoration equipment.
  • Assist with emergency response activities such as board-ups and roof tarping.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • IICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT) certification required (other IICRC certifications are a plus; training for additional certifications available).
  • 5+ years of experience in the restoration industry preferred.
  • Experience with Xactimate required; Symbility experience is a plus.
  • Experience with CoreLogic Mitigate and insurance industry TPAs is a plus.
  • General construction knowledge is beneficial.
  • Roofing experience is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Schedule & Work Environment:

  • Full-time position.
  • Availability for emergency and after-hours work, including weekends if needed.
  • Field-based role, requiring travel to job sites.
