Temple Health’s Chestnut Hill Campus is searching for a Surgical Physician Assistant to join the Orthopedic team!

Setting: Inpatient / Outpatient
Hours: M-F: 4 10’s, 730am – 530pm with a rotating day off | No On Call or Weekends 
Location:  Chestnut Hill Campus | 8835 Germantown Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19118 

Position Summary
Responsible for delivering high-quality treatment services and ensuring the effective functioning of a multidisciplinary team. This role provides comprehensive care across all surgical phases, including preoperative assessments, intraoperative assistance, and postoperative management. Key duties include conducting patient evaluations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, assisting surgeons during procedures, monitoring recovery, educating patients, and maintaining accurate documentation. Collaboration with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals is essential to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.

Experience
General Experience Relevant Experience (Required) 
Operating Room Experience (Preferred ) 

Education 
Bachelors Degree (Required)
Other : Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program. (Required)

Licenses
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Required)
Basic Life Support (Required) 
Certified Physician Assistant ( Required) 
Drivers License (Required) 
PA Cert Physician Asst License (Required)
