Mobility Technician: Per Diem Days, HMC/NMC

Atlantic Health is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual who is interested in joining our rehabilitation team in the Western Region as a Mobility Technician. This is a per diem position with variable day time/weekend hours. The Mobility Tech plays a vital role in enhancing patient recovery and safety by supporting mobility initiatives across inpatient units. This position partners closely with both nursing and therapy to assist patients with ambulation, transfers and positioning while promoting and maintaining functional independence.  Key responsibilities include assisting patients with walking, transfers, and repositioning using appropriate techniques and equipment, collaborating with therapists and nurses, documenting progress in the electronic medical record, educating patients and families on safe mobility practices, and encouraging patient participation in movement goals. Prior experience in patient care preferred. 

Required: 
1. High School Diploma

Preferred: 
1. BLS certification preferred 
2. Prior acute care experience preferred
