Automotive General Manager

We're looking for an experienced General Manager with a proven track record in high-volume sales. Previous GSM or GM experience is required – Kia experience is a plus!

This is a rare opportunity to join the LAcarGUY Family of Dealerships and help shape the future of Kia Santa Monica. We’re looking for a strong leader to establish the foundation and launch this new Kia point in the heart of Santa Monica.

We will only consider local candidates who live in or have worked within the Greater Los Angeles area. No relocation available.

Responsibilities

As General Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in our success, leading and inspiring a dynamic team to new heights. You'll be responsible for managing daily operations and driving sales growth. Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and increase market share

• Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals to meet and exceed sales goals
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback to team members
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
• Oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations
• Utilize software systems to track sales performance and generate reports

Qualifications

• Required: Minimum of 3 years of proven leadership experience as a GSM/GM in the automotive dealership industry
• Prior Kia experience is a plus 
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
• Knowledge of market trends and competitive landscape
• Proficient in using software systems for sales tracking and reporting
• Knowledge of all areas of automotive retail dealership: sales, fixed-ops, accounting, and finance

Compensation

• The estimated annual earnings for this position are $170,000.00 - $500,000.00 after factoring in all forms of compensation including salary, commissions, bonuses, etc.
• Employees in this position will receive a base salary of approximately $10,000.00 - $25,000.00 per month, plus commissions and bonuses based on performance.
