Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, has an exciting career opportunity for a (Senior) Associate in the Intellectual Property & Technology (IP/IT) Practice at our Warsaw office.
Job requirements:
Advise clients on intellectual property rights, protection strategies, enforcement, and litigation.
Draft, review, and negotiate IP and IT-related agreements, in particular IT system implementation and development contracts.
Support clients (in particular financial institutions, telecoms and automotive) with data privacy and cybersecurity matters, compliance with GDPR, DORA, NIS2, AI Act and other applicable regulations.
Conduct legal research and prepare memos, opinions, and reports related to the above.
Assist with IP portfolio management, including trademark and patent filings, oppositions, and renewals.
Work collaboratively with cross-practice teams to support transactional and litigation matters involving IP/IT/data privacy components.
We expect:
A Master’s degree in law.
Bar admission or current participation in an attorney-at-law/advocate traineeship.
At least 5 years of relevant work experience in intellectual property & technology law.
A strong focus on clients’ needs, willingness to take on responsibility, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
Fluent Polish and very good command of English, both spoken and written, enabling effective communication in daily work.
Very good organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and a “can-do” attitude.
A proactive, supportive, and team-oriented approach with strong interpersonal skills.
