Vector - Field Service Technician - Tulsa, OK

Role + Responsibilities 

Vector CAG., a manufacturer's representative partner of Endress+Hauser, Inc., is looking for a Field Service Technician to join their team in Tulsa, OK. This position entails both in-house repairs as well as travel to their varied customer sites (including power, energy, process, chemical, manufacturing, life sciences, pharma, food and beverage, and commercial)  to perform calibrations, installations, troubleshooting and repairs of the various instrumentation lines based on the manufacturer’s specifications.

 

• Ability to work in a team environment with other process instrumentation technicians to maintain and repair instrumentation including pressure, flow, level, and temperature devices. 
• Actively able to troubleshoot, maintain and repair instrumentation to ensure preventative maintenance of functional instrumentation. 
• Ability to install and reinstall instrumentation after repair or replacement. 
• Skill set includes completing loop checks with instrumentation within the facility. 
• Maintenance of all critical equipment will be a necessity to avoid downtime or malfunction. 
• Efficient at using computerized systems to integrate, retrieve data, or manage the instrumentation within the facility.
• Willingness to be on-call for service after normal business hours, including weekends, in rotation with other technicians.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned by supervision.

 

Qualification + Profile

• Knowledge of electronics, process diagrams (loop and data sheets), and test equipment (multi-meters.) preferred

• Knowledge of Instrumentation & Measurement Systems, multiple types of units, and Physical Properties

• Associates degree or a technical degree preferred

• 3+ years of experience 

• Computer skills (i.e. MS Office Suite)

• Ability to work with minimal oversight

• Good written and oral communication skills

• Team player

• Ability to rotate “On-Call” responsibilities

• Multiple overnight trips per month required
