Our 162-bed acute care facility includes a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and county designated trauma center. Job Summary:
Coordinates and implements staff education, orientation and competencies in alignment with regulatory requirements, company strategic initiatives, evidence-based practice across all clinical specialties within market. Provides education inclusive of both clinical performance and electronic health record documentation.
Job Requirements:
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
- Master's Degree: Preferred
- Three years' of recent experience as a clinical nurse: Required
- Clinical education experience: Preferred
- Proficiency in Electronic Health Records software: Required
Licenses/Certifications:
- Current RN license, medical provider or equivalent: Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Required
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice: Required
Essential Functions:
- Facilitates a welcoming supportive environment to new associates.
- Coordinates market education opportunities to deploy system programs and initiatives, ensuring the adoption of company standards and clinical best practices and EHR documentation. (ie. residency program, clinical onboarding program, etc.).
- Collaborates with local and system leadership to determine market specific educational needs to achieve desired organizational outcomes.
- Promotes staff competency and elevates clinical practice to deliver of top decile quality care.
- Collaborates with system and local leadership to determine market specific educational needs to achieve desired organization goals.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
