Your new responsibilities

The Engineering Technician plays a crucial role in supporting engineering projects and ensuring smooth operation of technical systems and processes. This position involves working closely with engineers, assisting in continuous improvements, helping with design and development, conducting tests and inspections, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining accurate documentation. The Engineering Technician is responsible for providing technical expertise and hands-on support, contributing to the successful completion of engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist engineers in the design, development, and implementation of engineering projects.
• Conduct tests, experiments, and inspections at the direction of engineers.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions to minimize downtime and maintain efficient operations.
• Collaborate with engineers to analyze test data, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment, tools, and instrumentation.
• Prepare and maintain accurate technical documentation, including test reports and operating procedures.
• Assis in the assembly, installation, and commissioning of equipment and systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as manufacturing, quality assurance, and research and development, to support project requirements.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

What we look for

• Associate degree or technical certification in engineering technology or a related field.
• Previous experience as an engineering technician or in a similar technical role.
• Strong technical aptitude and understanding of engineering principles, concepts, and practices.
• Proficiency in using engineering tools, software, and equipment for testing, measurement, and analysis.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to apply logical reasoning to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with engineers, team members, and stakeholders.
• Detail oriented mindset with strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
