Job Description
Vericast is seeking a Certified Salesforce Administrator to co-manage our current Salesforce.com platform(s) as well as be part of a significant modernization of Salesforce related tooling. The position will report to our Executive Director of Salesforce Strategy & Solutions and will be involved in the planning, design, implementation, and oversight of Salesforce initiatives and business processes that will drive sales, client management and organizational effectiveness. This person will also support and participate in a wide range of activities and must be a self-starter. This role will be critical in maintaining and enhancing the Salesforce platform architecture and providing thought leadership and the latest best in class practices as the company continues to grow.
KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage administration of Valassis Salesforce instances. 20%
- Design, Develop, Test, & Deliver platform enhancements requested by key stakeholders. 20%
- Participate in next generation process and system design, architecture, testing, implementation and support operations. 20%
- Maintain salesforce maintenance and enhancement roadmap, including any custom development work needed to enable business processes. 15%
- Manage change control process for any custom development and new workflows. 15%
- Partner with external parties as needed to execute major system upgrades and enhancements. 10%
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE
- 3-5 years Salesforce Administrator experience (Required)
CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSURES
- Salesforce Certified Administrator
- Salesforce Advanced Administrator
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Self-motivated, driven personality
- Strong attention to detail
- Responsive attitude; self-starter with a customer-first mentality
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Big picture, yet grounded thinker
- Ability to multi-task in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Salesforce CPQ experience desired, but not required
- Experience creating Reports, Dashboards, Approval Processes, workflow rules, validation riles, custom objects, etc..
- Experience linking CRM to applications
- Experience in media sales, advertising, mobile, and/or digital technology
- Carry a desire to learn new technologies and methods, both within and outside of Salesforce
- Have an understanding of sales processes and experience with collaborating with cross-functional teams to define business requirements
- Champion automation tools improvement, process automation and innovation
Additional Information
Base Salary: $80,000-$100,000
The ultimate compensation offered for the position will depend upon several factors such as skill level, cost of living, experience, and responsibilities.
