Anesthesia Tech Full Time Rotating

GENERAL SUMMARY: 

The Anesthesia Technician functions under the supervision of the Lead Anesthesia technician and Clinical Manager of the surgical suite as well as the Anesthesiologist or Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist.  The Anesthesia Technician will expedite, facilitate, and support the clinical work done by the anesthesia professional by procuring, assembling, troubleshooting, maintaining, and cleaning anesthesia equipment.  Anesthesia Technician will perform assigned duties in the Operating Room to assist the surgical and anesthesia team.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, AND OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Associate or Baccalaureate degree in healthcare preferred
• BLS-AHA required upon hire
• 1-year experience working as an anesthesia technician or a related healthcare field
