Summary of Duties: Architect and develop hybrid cloud and mobile identity assurance service and SecurID Cloud Authentication Service. Design, write, and test code to build SecurID CAS product features. Work with other teams to develop creative solutions to challenging technical problems. Write code in Enterprise Java and various JavaScript UI libraries using Angular and Backbone. Test the product using Junit unit tests, integration tests, and Selenium UI tests. Build the product using Maven and Gradle scripts. Test the product orchestrating Jenkins Pipelines scripts that will run thousands of tests every hour as the code is changed. Work cross-functionally on many different parts of the product as the need arises. Modify the UI to add a new button and then amend the user logs as needed. Write SQL queries and migrations to add new database tables or columns to the product using MSSQL or MySQL database. Write Java code to help setup or process customer end-user authentications. Refactor and optimize existing code if there are logic errors or running slowly. Write code in Java or JavaScript. Review other developers’ code. Work with customer support to diagnose and fix customer issues. Before finalizing code, add new Junit and Selenium tests to test changes, utilize Jenkins to test changes by running thousands of existing tests and try changes in Azure Cloud, compile and build code using Maven or Gradle, review code changes with other developers using Github, document changes, and present demonstrations.
Qualifications: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science or related field of study, plus 8 years of experience in the job offered or 8 years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer, Software Developer, Software Architect, Java Developer/System Engineer, or related occupation.
Requires experience in: object-oriented developing with Java; leading design, implementation and testing of Cloud services and applications; development lifecycle of at least one large-scale server-side project; working with Relational databases e.g. MySQL, SQL Server; data structures and algorithms; Unix or Linux; solving performance issues and constraints; scaling, throughput and latency. Can work remotely
