As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols of the location, staying visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will also provide exceptional customer service, demonstrating strong communication skills and a caring attitude as you interact with individuals throughout the facility. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within a healthcare environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity or access.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or irregularities encountered during patrols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas as required by site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as needed.
• Support Allied Universal management by following post orders and maintaining accurate records of activities and incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
