We are hiring a Strategic Account Manager for the East of Denmark to drive the success of our growing Respiratory & Immunology portfolios and are looking for a commercially sharp individual who thrives on ownership, stakeholder engagement, and translating strategy into real-world impact.
About the role

As a Strategic Account Manager at AstraZeneca, you get both responsibility and freedom to influence strategy and execution in an area with strong potential for expansion. You will have significant impact and play a pivotal role in:
Driving account strategy end-to-end – from insights to execution across all stakeholder levels (clinicians, decision-makers, payers).
Identifying and unlocking local business opportunities with measurable impact.
Leading and energizing cross-functional teams to deliver aligned, high-performing account work.
Shaping solutions and partnerships that improve patient outcomes while supporting sustainability ambitions.
executing projects aiming to increase sustainability and driving change in how healthcare is delivered to patients ensuring more patients receive the right treatment.
The role is field-based, and you will be covering the East region in Denmark.
Collaboration is key, and you will be working closely with the local brand team to develop tailored strategies for each account and stakeholder which will be crucial in achieving favourable brand listings, protocol inclusion, and increased brand usage through effective OMNI channel planning and execution.
Building and maintaining strategic partnerships within the therapeutic area ecosystem is a vital part of your role. Staying informed on industry trends, market dynamics, and healthcare policies is essential to ensure AstraZeneca remains at the forefront of the market.
Patient-centricity will be at the heart of all your discussions and solutions, and you will support Transform Care projects. Throughout all your business practices, you will demonstrate AstraZeneca's values, ethics, and compliance.

Essential skills and Experience
At least 5+ years’ experience in pharma or healthcare.
Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive results in complex environments.
Strong commercial acumen with a strategic and analytical mindset.
Experience working with account planning, omnichannel engagement, or cross-functional teams.
Deep understanding of the Danish healthcare system and decision-making structures.
Confidence using data and insights to identify opportunities and drive action.
Excellent proficiency in Danish and very strong English skills, with strong presentation and stakeholder‑influencing abilities.
Valid driver’s licence.
