Unit Description: As an Emergency Response Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing immediate and specialized care to patients experiencing acute changes in their condition. This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and innovative medical environment.
A minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience within a critical care setting is required. Certification in Emergency Nursing (CEN) or Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) and experience on a Rapid Response or Code Blue team is preferred.
The key responsibilities of this role are:
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, including but not limited to cardiac arrests, respiratory distress, and other critical events within the hospital and in the on-site ambulatory clinics.
- Collaborate with bedside nurses and other providers to provide insights, support, and guide supplemental therapies for patients in a variety of states of health.
- Provide support and education to bedside nurses with both at the elbow and formal education on a variety of emergency related topics.
On-call: Not required.
