SUMMARY

The Business Analyst will be part of a collaborative, dynamic team and will be responsible for helping ensure the systems and solutions deployed by IT meet the needs of the Armada business. This role partners closely with business partners to lead and document desired outcomes, quantify benefits and costs, analyze process pain points, and translate business needs into clear requirements. This is a Pittsburgh based hybrid role.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partnering with business stakeholders at all levels to understand objectives, success criteria, constraints, and tradeoffs, and translating those into clear, actionable outcomes.
- Leading the elicitation, analysis, and documentation of business and functional requirements for complex initiatives, often spanning multiple systems or teams.
- Translating business needs into formats easily understood by technical teams, ensuring shared understanding and alignment throughout delivery.
- Serving as the primary point of accountability for requirements, scope clarity, and functional process questions across the lifecycle of assigned initiatives.
- Proactively identifying process pain points, risks, and opportunities for improvement, and influencing solution approaches that balance value, feasibility, and time‑to‑delivery.
- Partnering closely with project managers, developers, and business users to support solution design, development, testing, implementation, and adoption. This can also involve designing test scenarios and plans that match business requirements, along with duties like providing hyper-care support, training business users, and documenting solutions or processes.
- Communicating complex concepts clearly and confidently to both technical and non‑technical audiences, including senior leaders.
- Build and maintain professional working relationships across business and it, becoming a trusted partner to business and IT stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related IT/business field.
- Experience in business analysis, IT, or operational support role with a proven record of success.
- Proven ability to translate business needs into high quality functional requirements and solution designs.
- Strong business process analysis and mapping skills, with experience driving process improvement.
- Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills applied to real world business and technology problems.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including facilitation with senior stakeholders.
- Strong problem solving, prioritization, and organizational skills in fast moving environments.
- Ability to operate independently, manage competing priorities, and lead through influence rather than authority.
- Ability to work with vague, ambiguous, or nebulous information and craft into concise and tangible insights or requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to explain complex ideas simply and learn quickly from feedback and iteration.
Preferred Experience Requirements
- Business Analyst or Lean Six Sigma certifications.
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis, IT, or operational support role with a proven record of success.
- Logistics, Supply Chain, or Warehousing industry experience strongly preferred.
