Senior Internal Auditor

What you will do:

• Design & test operating effectiveness of key SOX business and IT processes
• Work closely with Internal Audit Director to ensure execution of the SOX project plan
• Communicate findings to various business leaders, including external auditors
• Participate in the annual ERM Assessment
• Perform and/or lead financial, operational, SOX and/or other compliance audits
• Identify systems and process improvement opportunities
• Assist in special projects and investigations
• Lead process and control walkthroughs annually
• Participate in cross functional projects with the GRC team

What you will bring to Coupa:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience
• 3 - 5 years of experience with SOX compliance at a public company and/or Big 4 experience
• Understanding of the relevant compliance requirements (COSO framework, SOX requirements, etc.)
• Ability to work cohesively and effectively communicate with various stakeholders (SOX PMO, external auditors, business process owners, business application team, etc.)
• Demonstrate ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while delivering high quality work product
• Creative and innovative team player who is unafraid to bring new ideas to the table to improve processes
• CPA, CIA, and other relevant certifications preferred

The estimated pay range for this role is as follows:
•Based in California: $99,875 - $117,500
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state.
