What you will do:
- Design & test operating effectiveness of key SOX business and IT processes
- Work closely with Internal Audit Director to ensure execution of the SOX project plan
- Communicate findings to various business leaders, including external auditors
- Participate in the annual ERM Assessment
- Perform and/or lead financial, operational, SOX and/or other compliance audits
- Identify systems and process improvement opportunities
- Assist in special projects and investigations
- Lead process and control walkthroughs annually
- Participate in cross functional projects with the GRC team
What you will bring to Coupa:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience
- 3 - 5 years of experience with SOX compliance at a public company and/or Big 4 experience
- Understanding of the relevant compliance requirements (COSO framework, SOX requirements, etc.)
- Ability to work cohesively and effectively communicate with various stakeholders (SOX PMO, external auditors, business process owners, business application team, etc.)
- Demonstrate ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while delivering high quality work product
- Creative and innovative team player who is unafraid to bring new ideas to the table to improve processes
- CPA, CIA, and other relevant certifications preferred
