The Markets Program Execution and Transformation works with all Markets businesses and Citi functions, including Risk, Operations & Technology, Legal, Compliance, and Finance to identify, mobilize and execute responses to regulatory and cross-business transformational projects. The primary mission of the Team is to design and implement integrated solutions and sustainable capabilities in the most efficient and effective way for Markets and its clients. 

This role as a member of the Markets Program Execution and Transformation Team, will manage one or more critical projects within Capital and RWA, ensuring that best practices and Citi standards are utilized to ensure successful delivery in a complex, global program.

Key responsibilities:

Responsibilities will evolve over time, however the following are some specific activities expected of this role:

• Manage the end to end delivery of one or more project streams within Capital and RWA, being responsible for setting and then driving successful completion of key milestones
• Developing solutions to complex problems for Markets, working with key stakeholders to create project plans and then drive remediation
• Understanding critical path and taking a hands on approach to ruthlessly manage it
• Ensure transparency and effective management, tracking, and escalation of issues, risks, and assumptions
• Ensure dependencies are bi-laterally agreed and proactively managed
• Chair the working groups, ensuring that all contributing teams are aware of what’s required of them, that risks are actively managed before they become issues, and ensuring successfully delivery
• Provide status reporting and updates at senior governance forums
• Manage pmo resources to ensure that program management best practices and Citi standards are adhered to
• Work as part of a team of project managers within Capital and RWA, supporting other managers when needed and working across silos
• Effective communication with key stakeholders, both internal and external to the program / project, including obtaining buy-in for business process and infrastructure changes
• Liaison and clear communications with external parties, including clients and regulators as appropriate
• Develop and deliver presentations to Markets Program and Execution and Transformation management covering project / program status, resourcing and plans
• Lead, supervise, coach and develop more junior Markets Program Execution and Transformation team members and matrix management of teams across businesses/functions

Knowledge and Experience:

• Demonstrable experience in managing and executing on complex data programs including the sourcing, transformation, enrichment and governance of trade data in a business role.
• Demonstrable experience of running complex, high profile, high impact projects / programs from a Markets, COO or Finance team
• Knowledge of Trading business in the market structure and trade flow across a range of markets trading products. 
• Knowledge and experience of structured project management techniques in a front office environment
• Knowledge of Operational Risk methodologies/frameworks and demonstrable appreciation of the need for and impact of controls, thresholds and Data Quality rules plus fundamental data terminology
• Demonstrable experience in trade processing front-to-back, risk and control, markets, operations, and support & control areas (e.g. Finance, Risk, Operations) within a large bank/dealer
• Knowledge of global markets trading products (Fixed Income, Equity, Currencies & Commodities) and/or securities services (Prime, Collateral, Clearing, Custody, Fund Services)
