JOB SUMMARY:
This position is a senior-level leader serving as the Deputy Program Director for the General Tax Administration (GTA) Program's Information Technology (IT) initiatives. This Deputy Program Director is responsible for overseeing the strategic and operational management of technology services supporting the GTA program. This includes the System for Unified Taxation (SUNTAX), which is built on SAP, and other systems that enable GTA’s business functions. SUNTAX is the primary system supporting business operations in the GTA program. The role serves as a bridge between business and technology, ensuring IT services align with GTA's operational goals and objectives.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Six years of progressively responsible experience in IT leadership, program management, or a related field.
- Experience managing complex IT systems, preferably in a tax administration or public sector environment.
SUBSTITUTIONS:
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field can substitute for four years of the required IT experience.
- A master’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field can substitute for one additional year of the required IT experience.
PREFERENCES:
- Experience with SAP based systems and integration with legacy applications.
SPECIAL NOTES:
- This position is located in Tallahassee, FL and not eligible for remote work.
- This position may require after-hours support to address system issues and maintenance activities and may also require occasional travel.
SALARY: $116,000.04 - $120,000.00.
