The Associate SAP Basis Administrator S4/HANA is a full time remote and responsible for supporting a global environment, proving after hours coverage for Europe and regular business hours coverage in the Americas. This position is located in the US with dotted line reporting to a larger team located in Germany.

This position is for a junior resource, with limited experience, who is looking to expand their knowledge base through hard work, determination, and collaboration with more experienced team members.

You will make an impact in this role by:

• Worldwide SAP Basis administration in hybrid environment.
• Collaborate with team members in other countries to resolve issues and complete projects.
• Planning and execution of SAP system installations, system updates and upgrades as well as SAP migrations.
• Perform system refreshes from Production to Test and Sandbox environments.
• Perform regular operating system updates for systems running SAP.
• Perform regular patching of SAP Kernel and Basis level updates in SAP.
• Design, installation, and maintenance of monitoring systems for SAP landscapes.
• Monitor, tune, and troubleshoot the SAP technical environment.
• Install and configure SAP Fiori Applications; Troubleshoot and upgrade Fiori Apps as required.
• Supporting the development team in the Dev Ops process.
• Support with SAP authorizations.

Requirements

To be considered for the Associate SAP Basis Administrator role, you must have the following minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field
• 1-3 years SAP Basis experience in S/4 HANA
• Linux / Unix Administration and familiarity with bash, sh, ksh, or other shells as well as systemd or init
• Basic experience in the design, installation and operation of hybrid SAP landscapes
• Up to 20% travel (domestic and international)

Bonus for these skills:

• VMware and HCI experience
• Experience integrating with cloud solutions like Ariba, IBP, Analytics Cloud, Concur or other similar solutions
• Experience with or knowledge of security strategies in the SAP Landscape
• ECC 6 Basis Administration
• ALE Administration Experience
• MS SQL Server administration or development
• Windows 2019 Administration and PowerShell
• Fluency in German
