About the role
As a Senior Producer at Meta, you'll play a critical role in building the future of the metaverse through gaming. You'll engage, support, and serve as the primary manager between Meta and key game developers and content partners. - Work with external partners to build a product vision and then effectively communicate that vision internally while holding teams accountable for schedule and quality.
- Proactively identify gaps in development coverage, as well as identify minor and major risks, propose mitigation solutions, and escalate to Executive Producer and Directors all while executing against ambitious targets
- Work with Leads to coordinate a broad set of programming across gaming content for Horizon Worlds, consistently communicating with cross functional partners to provide schedules, timelines and help drive the overall content programming plan
- Manage milestones and deliverables from external partners, addressing high level production issues to allow the team to deliver items on time and achieve the highest possible game quality
- Work cross-functionally to gather requirements, collect feedback, and assist in breaking down complex initiatives into simple, compelling designs with actionable steps and proper estimated schedules/timelines
- Conceptualize interesting and achievable Mobile/VR designs and interactions suited to Horizon and its audience
- Help manage game related documentation, QA teams, and operational efficiencies for games in development. Keep pages up-to-date with the latest information and communicate changes to the team
- 8+ years of professional game industry experience on various platforms
- Experience navigating ambiguity and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, technical work environment
- Effective creative problem-solving skills with experience to identify solutions that work for multiple stakeholders
- Effective presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the experience to communicate complex, sometimes abstract, concepts clearly and persuasively
- Shipped at least 3 published titles as Producer and/or Senior Producer
- Experience working with Marketing and Communication partners to drive awareness and excitement for your title
- Experience in free to play on Console, PC, or Mobile
- Experience in game development with both internal and external development teams
- Experience with Live Service content management
- Strong communication and presentation skills
