Job Title: Laboratory Analyst II – Organics Department

Location: Greenville, SC

Qualifications:

• Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred.
  • Associate’s Degree with relevant experience will also be considered.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an analytical laboratory setting, ideally in organics.
  • Familiarity with organic testing techniques like GC-MS is a plus.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and analytical software.
• Soft Skills:
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Position Summary:

Rogers & Callcott is seeking a Laboratory Analyst II to join the Organics Department in our Greenville, SC laboratory. In this role, you will perform testing and analysis of environmental samples using specialized equipment and methodologies in the organics field. This position provides an excellent opportunity to build on your existing laboratory experience while contributing to environmental compliance efforts that protect our shared environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sample Analysis: Prepare and analyze client samples using organic testing techniques (e.g., GC-MS).
• Laboratory Maintenance: Ensure a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment while maintaining and calibrating instruments.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow strict safety protocols and environmental standards.
• Data Validation: Accurately document, validate, and report analytical results.
• Collaboration: Work closely with team members to meet project deadlines and troubleshoot issues.
