Job Description

We are looking for an experienced DevOps engineer specialized in security and git operations to lead several initiatives in collaboration with the product development teams and product security assurance team. A strong candidate for this role will have good fundamentals on DevOps practices, an eye for security and make it happen attitude.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with development and operations teams to embed security practices into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Develop and implement automated security testing tools and processes to identify vulnerabilities early in the development process.
• Implement monitoring solutions, respond to incidents, building rapid response and debugging capabilities.
• Create and maintain documentation related to operations, processes, configurations, and best practices.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and technologies, proposing improvements to existing implementations to optimize development workflows
• Foster strong collaboration between development and operations teams, promoting a DevOps culture focused on efficiency, transparency, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Required:

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps .

• Proven experience in a DevSecOps or security-focused role.

• Strong Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Proficient in GitHub and GitHub Actions, including experience with managing repositories and setting up CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) and automation tools.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and infrastructure as code (Terraform).

• Solid understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools.

• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana).

Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
