Job Summary

This position is responsible for review of psychological testing requests to determine medical necessity of testing requested, clinical appropriateness of tests and appropriateness of hours requested for the testing being authorized. Conduct and document peer-to-peer reviews and conduct medical necessity appeals in regard to psychological testing requests and review outpatient therapy cases using a focused outpatient care management model.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Doctor of Psychology.

• Valid, current, unrestricted license in good standing in state of operations.

• 3 years of experience in direct patient care and/or behavioral health care management.

• Located in a state or territory of the United States when conducting peer clinical reviews.

• Verbal and written communications skills.

PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience conducting case reviews.

• Managed care experience as a provider and/or reviewer.

Base Pay Range

$115,900.00 - $215,400.00
