Senior Product Owner

Overview

 

We are seeking our new Senior Product Owner to join the Axway team!

 

Axway is looking for a Product Owner to join the B2Bi PO team in our Bucharest office where we are looking to grow and expand our existing B2Bi solution into a B2B Integration Platform.

 

B2Bi is a highly available solution that orchestrates business interactions inside the enterprise, across the supply chain and throughout the trading community. Supporting a variety of communication protocols and transformation capabilities B2Bi is a highly customizable integration solution either on premise or in the cloud.

Responsibilities

• Taking ownership of new features and driving the functional approach to provide value to our customers
• Collaborating with the development teams, PO team and PM to understand, clarify and ensure that the functionalities provided are well understood and clarified
• Breaking down functional requirements and defining acceptance criteria
• Become hands-on with the product and provide feedback on Story and Release level test plans
• Collaborating with specialized internal teams (System Test, Security, Managed Cloud) to ensure that the functionalities of the solution keep up with the performance and security standards
• Working together with the Documentation team on new functionalities while providing feedback on the existing documentation
• Prioritizing internal and customer issues together with internal stakeholders
• Providing a customer-oriented perspective to the team and bringing the team perspective into PO/PM discussions

 

Qualifications

 

• With 3+ years prior technical experience in software development (Product Owner, Business Analyst, Requirement Analyst, QA Engineer)
• Who is comfortable working on a large-scale solution which enables our customers to trade millions of messages per day
• And has some experience with message transports (HTTP, FTP, others) or message formats (XML, EDIFACT etc)
• With an ability to simplify things when they get too complex while still keeping an eye on the details
• Who is not afraid to get into the technical discussions and understand both the technical and functional sides of the solution
• While learning and becoming hands on with configuring and using the solution
• And who has great communication and presentation skills
