We are responsible for developing platform based embedded software from low level hardware drivers to application layer features for our complete product portfolio. We are responsible for developing embedded software focusing on generic features including 3rd party software integration. As a new area in our platform development we are looking on Embedded Linux. You will be part of a self driven, agile software team report to Senior Manager, Erik Adam Schulz Laursen:</p> <p><em>“You will join a team of experienced specialists who both complement and challenge each other, to continuously do better and develop the best solutions. We need to supplement this team with solid Embedded Linux knowledge“, </em> Erik says.</p> <p> </p> <p>What is the job about? </p> <p>Your will be involved in development, integration and maintenance of embedded features and technologies written in C as well as specify and analyse technical embedded software features and requirements. Your work is closely related to our hardware (products), and you will participate in the complete development cycle from analysis and design over coding and unit test to system testing and verification. You collaborate with colleagues in both Denmark, India and China. You main tasks will be:</p> <ul> <li>Participate in defining and implementing our overall software architecture for products based on Linux </li> <li>Evolve and develop our embedded platform so it is capable of running on Embedded Linux as supplement to our existing RTOS</li> <li>Analysis, design and implementation of Grundfos specific drivers and features for Linux</li> <li>Integrate and qualify new Linux releases when available. You will be working on long term support distributions from Yocto</li> </ul> <p><em>“The technical challenge in this position lies in applying a solid Linux understanding to our systems in the solutions you develop. Another interesting challenge will be to work globally, across different cultures”, </em>Erik explains<em>. </em></p> <p> </p> <p>Your background: </p> <p>You probably hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree and you are an experienced Embedded Software Developer with C/C++ and shell programming knowledge.  Experience with distributed embedded system design and agile SW development is an advantage. You have good English skills verbally and in writing.</p> <p><em>”You have a strong profile within embedded SW development and thrive in a clear cut developer role.
