OneStream Senior Consultant - REMOTE

Definitive Logic is seeking experienced and driven OneStream Senior-Level Consultants to join our rapidly expanding team.
In this role, you will lead and manage complex implementations and provide expert guidance to our clients. You will be responsible for leveraging your deep knowledge of OneStream to deliver high-quality solutions, optimize financial processes, and ensure client success. This position requires a deep understanding of finance and accounting processes, as well as implementation expertise using OneStream. This position is 100% REMOTE.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver solution architecture by working closely with client and key business stakeholders to understand and realize business requirements and capabilities, by integrating business knowledge with scalable technical solutions
• Translate client business requirements into detailed technical specifications and perform build activities to deliver functional solutions using OneStream tools, technologies, methodologies and marketplace solutions
• Apply industry standard enterprise architecture principles and techniques and best practices to design and build financial applications in OneStream
• Apply advanced theoretical knowledge of Computer Science and Engineering principles and concepts in creating, developing, writing, testing, troubleshooting and documenting code and interfaces for various financial management applications using OneStream tools and technologies
• Ability to contribute to various phases of the software development life cycle, including in systems analysis, architecture, design, development, configuration, testing, debugging, and documentation
• Oversee the conduct of training sessions for end-users, both in-house and at client sites, to provide support and guidance on using the OneStream platform
• Responsible for successful unit, system and integration testing associated with the OneStream tool and its corresponding system interface areas, and for achieving successful user acceptance
• Ability to identify project risks, provide risk mitigation options, resolve risks in a timely manner and escalate to project management where necessary to resolve project risks
• Provide leadership in an agile environment with the ability to apply and modify agile practices and principles to meet successful project delivery
• Collaborate with other members of the development team and project managers to deliver solutions that surpass client expectations while meeting project timelines.
• Act as a role model for junior-level members and collaborate with junior developers to complete their tasks in all phases of the application development lifecycle
• Train and mentor community of engineers/internal staff in gaining expertise on OneStream tools/technologies and methodologies
• Demonstrate the ability to be updated with the latest developments in the industry and with OneStream product improvements, upgrades and offerings in the ecosystem and on industry best practices

Required Qualifications

• 8 years of total work experience with at least 3 years’ experience implementing federal planning, budget, forecasting solutions and/or commercial budgeting and planning solutions, financial close and consolidation solutions
• 3 years hand-on experience with OneStream XF solutions and/or prior modeling experience with OLAP tools like Oracle EPM, SAP BPC, Cognos TM1 and/or similar EPM/CPM solutions
• 2 years of SQL experience
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Business, Accounting, or related degree
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to Perform complex financial model design analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Mentor junior consultants and assist in progressing in their career path

Desired Qualifications

• Possess OneStream Lead Architect Certification and the ability to obtain and maintain other job-related certifications
• Possess Hyperion/SAP BPC/Cognos TM1 related Certifications and/or PMP, CPA, or CGFM Professional Certification
• Working knowledge of federal financial management processes and requirements 
• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience on SQL Server and/or Oracle databases, VB.NET development and/or any object-oriented programming languages
• At least 3 years of work experience in a professional services company and/or a consulting firm
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems
• Current U.S Government DOD clearance or higher
