Pharmacy Technician -

Help our licensed pharmacists provide carefully prepared medications and high-quality care to patients. Advocate for patient safety as part of an empowered team by adhering to stringent standards Under close supervision of the Pharmacy Manager and/or Pharmacist, performs preparation of medications, clerical duties and maintenance of supplies in the satellite Pharmacy Unit. This is a non-professional position.

Shift: This position will be evening shift 2:45pm-11pm.

Preferred Criteria

• 1+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital environment 

• IV experience ideal 

Required Criteria

• High School Diploma/GED

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA)

• New York State Pharmacy Technician License

• Knowledge with computer keyboard

• Ability to perform mathematical calculations, i.e., addition, subtraction, multiplication and division

Salary Range:

$33.58-$36.29/Hourly
