IT Inventory Specialist, Senior

· Coordinate inventory control and storage. Track all equipment from receipt to dispatch to surplus using IT inventory software such as Remedy or ServiceNow.
· Become proficient in the use of IT inventory software including entry, updates, and queries necessary for inventory management.
· Prepare and issue purchase requisitions necessary to maintain IT inventory as well as supplies necessary for storeroom operations. Obtain price quotes from vendors as needed for purchase.
· Prepare stock for dispatch to technicians, which requires some basic IT knowledge and skills.
· Provide assistance and training to less senior storeroom staff members in storeroom procedures and operations.
· Maintain stock levels of specific IT assets and notify management when an order is needed for depleted stock.
· Prepare periodic analyses of stock utilization trends and expenses as requested by management.
· In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
Position Compensation Range: $15.68 - $24.30 HourlyMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Licensure: None
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Education: Associates or Bachelor’s degree in IT, finance, or related field
Experience: 2 – 5 years experience in storeroom/inventory control operations
Skills: Proficiency in office productivity software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This job requires sitting/standing for prolonged periods. It requires some physical labor in moving IT equipment up to 20 lbs on a regular basis, and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
