About the role

Grammarly is excited to offer a remote-first hybrid working model. Team members work primarily remotely in the United States, Canada, Ukraine, Germany, or Poland. Certain roles have specific location requirements to facilitate collaboration at a particular Grammarly hub.

All roles have an in-person component: Conditions permitting, teams meet 2–4 weeks every quarter at one of Grammarly’s hubs in San Francisco, Kyiv, New York, Vancouver, and Berlin, or in a workspace in Kraków. This flexible approach gives team members the best of both worlds: plenty of focus time along with in-person collaboration that fosters trust and unlocks creativity.

Grammarly team members in this role will collaborate in person 3 weeks per quarter, traveling if necessary to different hubs. They are required to live within a commutable distance of their home hub of San Francisco. Grammarly may provide relocation assistance.

To achieve our ambitious goals, we’re looking for a Strategic Finance Senior Manager, Investments to join our Strategic Finance team. The person in this role will have the opportunity to build a team as their impact and influence on organizational decision-making expands. This role will report to the Head of Strategic Finance. 

We are seeking candidates who are excellent communicators and analytically strong, with the ability to identify business opportunities and lead appropriate analyses and diligence to inform a course of action for senior business stakeholders. Candidates must be able to apply critical judgment to drive decisions that will impact the business. 

Your impact

In this role, you will:

  • Partner with our senior leaders to support strategic initiatives and high-impact decisions, including investment trade-offs across marketing and product, market/performance evaluation, pricing, goal setting, and more.
  • Work closely with key business partners to assess business performance, craft the appropriate narratives for internal and external stakeholders, and evaluate appropriate actions for future business growth.
  • Collaborate with our Finance and FP&A teams to build and model topline growth, R&D, and Marketing investments on our P&L.
  • Program and project manage OKRs to deliver near and long-term success for the business.
  • Drive process excellence in the work of your team and partners. This includes managing organization-wide planning cycles with complex multiple stakeholder dependencies, collaborating with our business intelligence teams to develop new metrics and tools for measuring and reporting KPIs and business performance, and fostering increased productivity in the workflow and output of our partner teams.
  • Work closely with our Data Science teams to assess/review the efficacy of our attribution models, increment measurement, and ROI projections.
  • Support board presentations, materials, investor reporting, and communications.
  • Partner with our Corporate Finance team on financing, corporate development, and strategic partnership activities, including financial assessments and analysis, due diligence, and integration.
