Job Summary
The Warehouse Driver is responsible for safely loading, transporting, and delivering cabinet materials to job sites and return locations using a box truck. This role ensures accurate delivery of materials, adherence to safety procedures, and maintenance of company vehicles, while providing excellent internal and external customer service.

Essential Functions

  • Safely operate a box truck to deliver cabinet materials, equipment, and products to assigned job sites and return locations.

  • Load and unload materials using a forklift or pallet jack while ensuring products are properly secured to prevent damage during transport.

  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues to management.

  • Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of the interior and exterior of the company vehicle.

  • Verify delivery contents against packing lists and ensure all materials are accounted for before and after transport.

  • Return unused cabinet materials or products from job sites to the warehouse or appropriate vendor, ensuring documentation is completed for returns and credits.

  • Obtain required signatures upon delivery and submit all delivery paperwork, inspections, and documentation in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Adhere to all company safety protocols, traffic laws, and DOT regulations.

  • Perform general warehouse support duties when not driving, including stocking, organizing, and assisting with inventory.

  • Other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager or Operations Lead.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; DOT medical card preferred or required based on vehicle size.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience operating a box truck or similar commercial vehicle.

  • Forklift certification or ability to become certified (training provided).

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to verify delivery accuracy.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to interact professionally with builders, subcontractors, and internal teams.

  • Strong time management and organizational skills to ensure timely deliveries and accurate documentation.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical demands, including lifting up to 75 lbs and working in varying weather conditions.

  • Basic computer skills and comfort with mobile apps or digital delivery systems for routing and documentation.
