POSITION PURPOSE
The Supply Chain & Operations Business Analyst serves as a process analyst and capability partner, acting as a liaison between Operations, Technology and Data to support scalable and efficient workflows across the Corona, CA and Delta, BC facilities. This role is responsible for documenting end-to-end operational processes, aligning processes and systems to business capabilities and supporting application replacement or improvements through translating business needs into structured functional and data requirements. This role also plays a key role in identifying opportunities for automation, advanced analytics, and AI-enabled decision support—helping evolve supply chain processes to be more scalable, resilient, and efficient over time.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Process Analysis & Documentation:
- Document current-state and future-state processes across inbound, outbound, inventory, and supply workflows
- Develop process maps, workflows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Validate process documentation with operations teams to ensure alignment with real-world execution
- Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and manual workarounds, and recommend improvements
Business Capability Alignment: - Map operational processes to define supply chain business capabilities
- Align capabilities to support systems, applications, and data structures
- Maintain capability-to-application mappings as processes evolve
- Identify capability gaps and standardization opportunities to support improvement
Requirements Development & Delivery
- Gather, document, and maintain business, functional, and data requirements
- Translate operational needs into structured requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Partner with technical teams to transfer into technical requirements ensuring system enhancements, integrations, and implementations deliver intended outcomes
- Support testing efforts, including user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring solutions meet business needs
Automation, Analytics & AI Enablement
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes through automation and system enhancements
- Partner with Analytics and Technology teams to define reporting requirements and KPI logic
- Support initiatives that leverage advanced analytics and AI to improve operational decision-making
- Contribute to evolving how process documentation and insights are developed using AI-enabled tools
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Act as a liaison between Operations, IT, and Analytics teams
- Facilitate alignment across stakeholders on process changes and system initiatives
- Support continuous improvement efforts across supply chain functions
- Build strong partnerships to ensure solutions are practical, scalable, and adopted
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3–6 years of experience in business analysis, supply chain, operations, or related roles
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process documentation skills
• Ability to translate operational needs into structured business requirements
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Advanced Excel proficiency
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience in retail supply chain or distribution center operations
• Exposure to WMS, OMS, ERP, or workforce management systems
• Experience with operational process analysis and mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart)
• Exposure to business capability modeling frameworks (e.g., LeanIX)
• Experience supporting system implementations or process improvement initiatives
• Familiarity with automation, analytics, or AI-enabled tools in business processes
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS
• Ability to work in both office and warehouse environments
• Ability to sit for extended periods and work on a computer
• Ability to move throughout the facility to observe operations and collaborate with teams
• Ability to travel 10-15 days per year
