Position Specific Description
The role involves leading a team as a part of our corporate development group. Projects focus on solving complex problems regarding organic and inorganic growth across a range of business areas, from renewable energy (wind, solar, battery, RNG, green hydrogen, etc.) to corporate support functions. We partner with senior executives to identify and solve key business challenges, conduct analysis, define solutions, and help prepare the business to implement. This role will use management consulting as well as financial skills to work with internal clients and external partners throughout all stages of strategy and M&A engagements. Project timelines typically run 2 - 6 months.
A Project Director will lead teams and drive large strategic projects. They will work directly with business executives and manage relationships to source and prioritize projects. They will also play a team leadership role by developing and mentoring talent within the group.
Job Overview
This position works with internal and external groups to perform due diligence and asset valuations of various corporate financing projects. This position works as a Subject Matter Expert in the planning and coordination of work assignments to identify and analyze the impact of relevant financing projects.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Works with internal and external groups to analyze various financial projects such as mergers and acquisitions
- Builds, enhances and maintains complex financial models
- Proposes strategies to maximize the financial performance of the company
- Supports project and corporate capitalization processes with due diligence, identification of key risks and mitigants, and cash flow analyses
- Makes recommendations on financing decisions and executes long and/or short term financings
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
- Experience: 4+ years
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's - Accounting / Finance
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
