Job Description
The Service & Resource Data Coordinator works with OhioLINK and Ohio Technology Consortium (OH-TECH) staff to collect, analyze, and report relevant data related to OhioLINK services. OhioLINK is Ohio’s statewide academic library consortium, delivering both IT infrastructure and content negotiation to provide students, faculty, researchers, and staff with access to valuable digital research collections at a fraction of the cost if those collections had to be purchased by individual institutions.

 

Responsibilities of the position include:

·         Captures, analyzes, and reports usage data, library collection data, and other data in both OhioLINK and third-party services and applications. This includes eTutoring platforms, the Electronic Journal Center, Member Portal publisher content entitlements, and cost per use analyses, to broadly support access, assessment, and decision-making for the OhioLINK consortium.

·         Works with the OhioLINK department staff and staff at member institutions to collect, integrate, and communicate data from multiple sources, such as surveys, OhioLINK technology systems, library management systems, and library vendor content platforms.

·         Assists members with questions and troubleshooting related to data sources and reporting relating to OhioLINK services and resources.

 

Coordinator is adept at data visualizations and representations, report writing, and the development of a variety of data communications.  Successful candidates will be detail oriented, able to balance multiple priorities, meet deadlines, be flexible, and able to work independently and as a member of a team.
