About the role
The Strategic Initiatives Lead (SIL) is a key member of the Consulting Partner Center of Excellence (CCOE), responsible for delivering new and increased capabilities and better end-to-end partner experiences across the worldwide consulting partner community. The CCOE mission is to closely collaborate with, and grow, a set of global strategic partners while simultaneously picking up signals and patterns that allow the CCOE to define and propagate the strategies, goals, and best practices that enable all Consulting Partners to deliver the business outcomes needed to drive broad adoption of AWS. The SIL works directly with APO teams, AGS/AWSI Field teams, and Partners to identify friction points, blockers, and forward-looking areas of opportunity. As part of qualifying and selecting initiatives to pursue, the SIL leads the creation of the financial case for action, alignment of stakeholders, creation of the target-solution, and orchestration of required actions to enact change and drive the target outcome. The SIL will define metrics and stand-up the required mechanisms to inspect the initiatives, from which the SIL will enact necessary improvements as well as harvest learnings to feed into parallel and future initiatives.
