Position Purpose: To facilitate, integrate, coordinate, and direct all administrative and clinical functions, systems, and services consistent with the treatment philosophy, agency goals and objectives of Rosecrance. To provide and monitor continuity of services in an ethical, legal and moral manner within a safe and therapeutic environment, consistent with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards.

Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work or a related health field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience or more in behavioral health or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Minimum of three years of proven leadership in a supervisory capacity
  • At least two years of demonstrated expertise in program development
  • Specialized education, practical experience or targeting training in behavioral health and budget preparation
  • Certified Addiction Counselor (CADC) or licensed as LPC, LCPC, LSW, LCSW, or LMFT. Licensure as a LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT strongly preferred

 Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Work hours prescribed and any additional hours deemed necessary for the responsibilities assigned.
  2. Provide administrative oversight to all employees under supervision.
  3. Directly oversee the treatment programs, referral and admission services, evaluation and assessment services, outpatient, referrals, and continuing care services, residential services, housing services and all aspects of their operations.
  4. Available 24 hours a day for response to emergencies.
  5. Maintain core competency through embracing, supporting, and promoting Rosecrance principals, policies, practices and systems.
  6. Create and lead implementation of new or expanded services as approved.
  7. Provide leadership and supervision to all assigned employees including orientation, training, regular supervisory meetings and/or feedback, scheduled evaluations and annual goals.
  8. Manage all related contracts and complete monthly, quarterly and annual reports as required
  9. Responsible for spearheading the development of new, innovative programs.
  10. Exercise leadership and serve as the ultimate responsibility for the development and implementation of all policies and procedures.
  11. Responsible to ensure overall agency compliance with standards and rules and regulations.
  12. Assist with the preparation, in collaboration with the CFO, the annual budget and ensure adherence to established budget through the year.
  13. Responsible for preparation and presentation of monthly reports as assigned.
  14. Accountable for coordinating all physical plant needs and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  15. Review and evaluate incidents within the program and make recommendations for risk mitigation or policy change.
  16. Maintain a reporting procedure to the President of Rosecrance Illinois regarding program services, personnel, marketing, and related services and assigned project and/or other duties.
  17. Serve as a member of the administrative team and participate in all team meetings and activities.
  18. Establish community relationships while building and reinforcing the Rosecrance brand.
  19. Understand and comply with all of the principles established by the Rosecrance Corporate Compliance Program and Code of Ethics.
  20. Perform all responsibilities in compliance with the mission, vision, values and expectations of Rosecrance.
  21. Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer.
  22. Serve as a role model for other staff, patients and customers and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing Rosecrance.
  23. Assume other related responsibilities as assigned by management.

Schedule: 8-hour shifts (with 24 hour on-call availability)

  • Shift: 8:30am - 5:00pm
  • Monday thru Friday
