OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE
As a Business Analytics Lead on the Forecasting, Pricing, and Analytics (FPA) team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic development and execution of initiatives that optimize our company's data and analytics capabilities. You will develop and implement analytics solutions that support plasma volume growth, business outcome predictability, and cost management through improving how we use data – both through data analysis, building/modifying reporting dashboards, improving knowledge management, and creating statistical model prototypes. This role is critically important for the success of the FPA team and reports to the Global Head of Forecasting, Pricing, and Analytics at BioLife, which is within the Plasma-Derived Therapies PDT) business unit at Takeda.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Strategic Leadership
Provide thought leadership for improving measurement of business performance – both through focus on the right metrics and improving metric accuracy.
Identify and help implement best practices, create and maintain documentation, and improve knowledge management across the Forecasting, Pricing, and Analytics (FPA) team.
Ability to proactively identify and quantify risks & gaps in on-going business processes.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to achieve cost savings and efficiency gains.
Work with partners, vendors, and consultants on cross-functional projects, which can include developing solution functional requirements, feature prioritization, and aspects of data management/governance.
Metrics and Reporting
Identify, development and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and measure projects.
Partner with the Data, Digital, and Technology (DD&T) Team to ensure data accuracy, data integrity, and that good data governance practices are in place.
Develop solutions (dashboards, data visualizations, reports) for real-time operations performance assessment and agile decision-making.
Data Science
Partner with DD&T data scientists and consultants to develop advanced analytical models and dashboards for operations management.
Complete ad hoc analytics projects, which can include descriptive analyses
