 Title: YMCA Coalition Coordinator 

Position Summary:
Are you passionate about substance use prevention? The Keene Family YMCA Community Coalition on Youth Substance Misuse is seeking a full-time Director to manage coalition activities including trainings, workshops, and events with the goal of strengthening and implementing prevention strategies. In this role you will develop and oversee mentorship and outreach programs, both within and outside of the YMCA, and collaborate with other organizations to develop positive youth development opportunities. Requirements

Responsibilities: 

• Facilitate the daily implementation of the coalition’s action plan.
• Manage coalition trainings, workshops, and impact events to enhance skills and raise awareness around best practices for youth substance use prevention 
• Implement and manage mentorship and outreach programs including activities outside of the YMCA to create positive youth development opportunities 
• Develop, implement, and manage youth prevention programs 
• Function as the spokesperson for the coalition when needed, making presentations and collaborating with other prevention-focused organizations 
• Organize community-wide projects and youth events 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Services, Recreation, or equivalent 
• Ability to direct programs while supervising volunteers and staff 
• Demonstrated competency with budget management, marketing and public relations, program development, and fundraising 
• Experience working with people of diverse backgrounds preferred 
• Ability to establish and maintain collaborations with community organizations 
• Must have a valid drivers license and reliable vehicle
