You will make an impact by:
· Supporting engineering activities such as test, check-out, modification, fabrication, and assembly under the close supervision of Engineers.
· Building prototypes, sub-assemblies, and preparing feasibility test units, samples, and/or chemical solutions.
· Performing work using drawings, diagrams, written and verbal instructions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout, and trouble-shooting functions.
· Performing operational test and identifying failure modes on systems and equipment.
· Collecting and documenting test data.
· Operating basic lab equipment and performing routine testing.
· Order and maintain lab supplies and equipment.
What you’ll need:
· Associate’s Degree OR 1 year of previous related experience required.
What else we look for:
· R&D lab and/or medical device experience preferred.
· Basic written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skill.
· Good computer skills, including usage of MS Office Suite.
· Use of GDP (Good Documentation Practices).
· Moderate understanding of equipment in a lab environment.
· Ability to perform basic troubleshooting.
· Ability to identify problems and relevant issues in straightforward situations, assessing using standard procedures.
· Ability to use manufacturing, test, development or diagnostic equipment; use tools such as measuring equipment.
· Ability to read and understand procedures, drawings, schematics and carry out assembly instructions.
· Knowledge of and adherence to Edwards Environmental Health and Safety and Quality guidelines as they relate to lab and/or clean room medical device manufacturing.
· Strict attention to detail.
· Must be able to work in a team environment.
· Ability to provide feedback in a professional, direct, and tactful manner.

For California, the base pay range for this position is $41,000 to $58,000 (highly experienced).
The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).
