Highly experienced test engineer who is collaborative, enjoys working in multi-product environment, excels in improving test processes and execution, is looking for new challenges and wants to find good bugs. What You’ll Do:
- Automate tests using tools like XCTest, XCUITest, or third-party frameworks (e.g., Appium, PyTest etc)
- Debug and troubleshoot issues related to macOS-specific behaviors, kernel extensions, drivers, or sandboxing restrictions
- Collaborate with developers to resolve issues, validate fixes, and ensure compatibility with new macOS versions
- Manage hardware environments (e.g., Mac Minis, MacBooks, VMs) for cross-version and regression testing
- Comprehend and execute test cases (manual and automated) and uncover, document and track defects
- Be metrics driven, improve test case execution efficiency and test coverage
- Work in an agile development environment, collaborating with developers and PMs to deliver quality software iteratively
- Be an integral part of the team while continuously participating in improving process and test methodologies, execution efficiency and effectiveness
- Strong knowledge of macOS internals, system logs, and diagnostic tools
- Experience with terminal-based tools (e.g., Console, sysdiagnose, dmesg, spindump)
- Programming and Scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, or Swift preferred) and version control knowledge (GIT)
- Experience working with Azure DevOps or equivalent (TFS, TeamCity, Jenkins, GitLab)
- Experience in virtualization environments such as VMWare or Hyper-V
- 5+ years of work experience in a similar field or equivalent including experience with Test Automation
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Experience with mobileconfig, MDMs, or Endpoint Security Framework (ESF).
- Good OOP knowledge
- Networking knowledge (REST API testing, TCP/IP stack, DHCP, DNS, AD, etc.)
- Experience in Linux/Unix is a great plus
- Enterprise administration such as software remote deployment, multiple user sessions, server support, backups, security policies or networking essentials
