Job Description
AECOM is seeking civil, mechanical and electrical, Senior Inspector to be based in New York, NY.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Knowledge and familiarity with contract documents, ensure that construction work is performed in accordance with contract drawings, specifications and all applicable codes and standards.
- Conduct site inspections as required, attend progress meetings and final inspections and document meeting minutes.
- Perform constructability reviews for future contracts, provide meaningful comments on drawings and specifications by specified dates.
- Review and evaluate potential items of extra work, provide justification and cost estimate, comment on and approve quantities of work in place for payment applications in a timely fashion, complete daily narratives.
- Ensure that construction work is performed in accordance with contract drawings, specifications and all applicable codes and standards.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- HS + 10 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred Requirements:
- Port Authority experience
- New York City agency experience.
- Confined Space certification.
- NYC Local Law 52 scaffold certification.
- Familiarity with NYC Building Code.
- Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to pass a SWAC Background Check at High Level.
- Extended and weekend shifts will be required.
