Internship Assignment: Full Time – Summer 2024

• Create job plans for mechanical work based off of the Subject Matter Expert's provided service requests
• Coordinate repairs/improvements to equipment through mechanical maintainers and outside mechanical contractors
• Aid in documenting and categorizing spare parts inventory for mechanical systems
• Identification of obsolete parts and components for mechanical systems

 

Internship Qualifications

• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
• Must have completed 30 or more credit hours by the end of the spring 2024 semester
• Must be a full-time student attending an accredited two-year or four-year college/university
• Preferred majors:  Mechanical Engineering, Mechanics, or related
• Project management skills
• Mechanical systems troubleshooting and repair
• Effective communication with third party outside contractors
• Maximo usage for ordering components, planning, and scheduling of maintenance work
