What’s the role?
The Climate Finance Communications Manager will help manage communications for a portfolio of philanthropic initiatives focused on helping unlock billions of dollars in sustainable finance to support the world’s transition to net-zero emissions. This role is responsible for successfully executing integrated, communications strategies to support cross-cutting global programs that are coordinating efforts across all sectors of the financial system to accelerate the transition to a net-zero global economy, catalyzing decarbonization across heavy-emitting sectors, developing capital market infrastructure and solutions to help address climate data challenges across the global economy, and tackling the challenge of unlocking climate finance at scale in emerging markets.

You will  lead the execution of the strategic communications plan - including managing day-to-day media relations and external communications - for the GFANZ Secretariat and ensuring coordination and seamless connectivity between GFANZ Secretariat team members, members of GFANZ-affiliated alliances, as well as the larger Bloomberg Philanthropies communications, social, video, and content teams. This person will also help lead on crisis communications and rapid response.
