Location: Based at our Apache Junction dispensary with travel throughout the Greater Phoenix Area

About the Role

Ayah Delights is a dessert and beverage-focused food truck currently based at our Apache Junction dispensary and regularly traveling to dispensaries throughout the Greater Phoenix Area, community events, special promotions, and company functions.

We are seeking a reliable, energetic, and customer-focused Food Truck Technician to join our growing team. This role is responsible for preparing dessert items and specialty beverages, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workspace in a fast-paced environment.

Because our food truck operates at multiple locations and events, candidates must be comfortable with travel, adaptable to changing schedules, and excited to work in a dynamic, mobile environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve dessert items and specialty beverages according to company recipes and standards
• Provide friendly, professional customer service and create a positive guest experience
• Take customer orders and process transactions through the point-of-sale (POS) system
• Assist with food preparation, stocking, inventory organization, and restocking supplies
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards inside and around the food truck
• Support daily setup, breakdown, opening, and closing procedures
• Assist with preparing the food truck for travel, events, and dispensary rotations
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient operations during high-volume service periods and special events
• Represent Ayah Delights and Nirvana Cannabis professionally at all locations and events

Qualifications

• Arizona Food Handler's Card (required) or ability to obtain one prior to employment
• Previous food service, café, beverage, or hospitality experience preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds

Travel Requirements

• Must be willing and able to travel throughout the Greater Phoenix Area, including rotating between dispensary locations and attending special events, promotions, and community activities
• Must have reliable transportation and the ability to report directly to varying work locations as scheduled
• Schedule and work locations may vary based on business needs, events, and seasonal demand

Scheduling Expectations

This position requires flexibility, including availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events. Work schedules and reporting locations may change week-to-week based on food truck operations and event schedules.
