Quality Lab Associate, Intern - Summer

POSITION DESCRIPTION

• Regular and predictable onsite attendance and punctuality.
• Use basic laboratory instrumentation (Balance, pH, etc.) and computer systems to collect and record data.
• Requiring precise analytical skills and understanding of chemistry principles.
• Execute validation studies in support of manufacturing processes and R&D projects including cleaning and process validation.
• Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with company SOPs and specifications, USP, Ph.Eur., FDA, GLP, GDP and cGMP regulations.
• Investigate deviations and write exception documents.
• Participate in functions involving teams, which impact production, increase efficiency, solve problems, generate cost savings, and improve quality.
• Perform laboratory housekeeping, safety, and documentation audits monthly and maintains laboratory cleanliness and laboratory glassware maintenance as needed. Perform Balance and pH calibrations as required.

 

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

• High School diploma and some (1-3 years) college experience preferably in a Chemistry discipline.
