Dispatcher

Overview

Under the direction of the Dispatch Supervisor, the Dispatcher is responsible for efficient telephone and radio communications.

Responsibilities

• Receive, prioritize and dispatch requests for service from radio and telephone communications and assign the appropriate Personnel.• Handle a variety of emergency situations i.e. medical aids, fires, crimes, and/or evacuations.• Handle functions as directed by the Supervisor for the purpose of filing and maintaining appropriate paperwork.• Complete accurate logs and reports.• Monitor cameras focused on all outside areas, such as employee entrance, valet area, parking garage and outside Hotel areas and complete investigations when needed.• Establish and maintain a cooperative relationship with those contacted during the course of work. • Other duties may be assigned.

 

Qualifications

 EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE • Previous experience is preferred

 

Pay range: $19.00 - $24.70 per hour

 

*Shift Differential: Non-Exempt employees will receive a $1.00 per hour shift differential for any hours worked between 10:00pm and 6:00am.

 

This is not a smoke free workplace.  Although we employ state-of-the-art air filtration systems, cigarette smoke is in the work environment
