The Chief Investigator will drive Collins’ commitment to ethical conduct and integrity across the region. This individual contributor role is responsible for ensuring fair and timely resolution of internal ethics and compliance matters. Operating within the Global Ethics & Compliance (GEC) framework, the Lead promotes RTX’s values and the Code of Conduct and works closely with regional leadership and stakeholders to identify trends, mitigate risks, and strengthen compliance efforts.

What will you do:

  • Lead end-to-end internal investigations into potential violations of company policies, ethical standards, and applicable laws

  • Analyze complex cases to identify regulatory obligations and prepare clear, thorough reports and disclosures for internal stakeholders and government entities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and drive impactful corrective action plans

  • Act as a strategic partner to the Global Ethics & Compliance (GEC) team and broader business units, delivering timely updates, identifying emerging trends, and helping mitigate compliance risks

  • Travel up to 10% to support regional operations and investigations

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience  

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract 

  • Must have or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance.  Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements  

  • 8+ years investigations experience related to complex and/or criminal investigations and disclosures (e.g., False Claims Act, time charging) and/or with corporate ethics and compliance matters (e.g., Code of Ethics, harassment, retaliation, discrimination)

  • 8+ years experience conducting investigations with minimal daily supervision and experience briefing matters to business stakeholders and Executive Leaders

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience with compliance regulations, ensuring all investigations meet legal and ethical standards.

  • Experience in Federal Law Enforcement.

  • Familiarity with the aerospace or manufacturing environment (a plus, not a requirement)

  • Ability to communicate and present to all levels of the organization
